It performs moisture measurement of whole grains using weight-volume method. High precision of measurements is guaranteed by a special software and an integrated accurate electronic scale which takes into account the influence of fullness and variability of the grain on the result of the measurement. Meter has a second class of accuracy and an average measurement error is less than 0.5% for normalized grain. It also performs bulk density measurements (kg/hl).

The weight of the device is just 1655 g. It is easy to operate and it has an intuitive menu and a dirt resistant keyboard. A buzz signals low battery and the necessity to charge it. The device works continuously on one battery for about 45 hours. Built-in effective battery packs are rechargeable. A measuring chamber has an automatic temperature compensation sensor.

High class of measurement accuracy was confirmed by type approval issued by the Central Office of Measures. Before the approval was issued, hundreds of comparative studies with the use of laboratory method had been carried out in the Institute of Agricultural and Food Biotechnology in Warsaw. The moisture meter is adjusted to obtain a calibration certificate in the Institute of Agricultural and Food Biotechnology in Warsaw which authorizes for settlements in grain trade.
